I apologize if this went unnoticed. Sometimes things fall through the cracks in cyberspace. What is happening with the doggy husband bonding issue. I personally think that doggies purposely choose their humans and that you might have needed one without knowing it. Maybe you could have a two dog household. Sounds like the new baby chose you. To cheer up my husband I suggested he get a dog. He lost his pet more than 22 years ago and hasn't tried since. He found a terrier online and drove to pick her up for a one-week trial. Fionna for some reason immediately attached herself not to him but to me. I've never had a pet in my life. She whimpers when I'm out of her direct sight-line. She "paces and goes worry crazy" when I'm out of the building. I don't know what to do. How can get her and my husband to bond? How can I get her to be OK when I'm away? Help!
