There are Definitely Changes Occurring.

Anyone on a Spiritual Path, which is really all of us to some extent or another, has to know that there is a vibrational shift going on. I can’t be the only one who feels it in the energy field around me. I am having all kinds of physical changes too. It is a little difficult to describe. Sometimes my head heats up in different parts like I am receiving downloads. My dreams are more vivid and my intuition is far more effortless. Today, for example, I was at the grocery store. Grocery shopping is very meditative for me. My husband, who is always on New York time and I each take a cart and split up. This way he can speed shop and I can stroll and read all the labels I want to my heart’s content. Since we don’t have kids at home and I have a limited diet, again probably due to vibrational shift, I don’t have to rush to catch up to him. I was strolling in the grocery store humming a classical piece of music. I only wish I knew the name of it. I was humming softly so it was not as if anyone could hear me. As I turned the corner a little boy was sitting in the grocery cart and looked right at me with a grin on his face. He too was loudly humming the same piece of music at the same time. I know he did not hear me because we met at the corner of the aisle.

My mouth dropped open and then I couldn’t help but grin too. For a moment our eyes met and I realized that this child and others like him are going to keep the world moving ahead. We are being tested right now to see what we are made of. We are being asked to make changes in how we run the world because we are connected to everyone. There is no separation from soul to soul. Perhaps as the energy shifts occur we will all experience a rebirth into our native abilities. There are legends that the people of Lemuria and Atlantis spoke to one another telepathically. Those societies supposedly destroyed themselves. This was a sign to me today that we don’t have to do that. We are ready to embrace who we really are. We are all souls in physical bodies who are not disconnected from each other or from God. We have to believe that. Then we will be filled with the love and compassion that can move mountains and change the course of our world.

Beth Greer is a bestselling author and Green living advocate. Beth was able to heal herself from a benign tumor that was causing her a great deal of pain in her chest. It is such a blessing to see that Green living is a movement. Back in the late 80s when people began pursuing what was then called the “New Age,” it was seen as odd if you wanted to protect your children from sugar, additives and processed foods. I remember when I was in college and I went into my first health food store. Have a refrigerator section with carob and bulk grains seemed so exotic to me. I remember reading the classic book “Sugar Blues” by William Duffey and being so blown away by how much sense it made that we have way too much refined sugar in our diets.

When my children were little  I was in my earth mother stage and lived on a farm. I was somewhat macrobiotic and would not give my children sugar. Beth describes a similar experience when her child first tasted the dreaded chicken nugget. In my house my oldest daughter had gone to a birthday party in town and brought home a goody bag with chocolate in it. Her little brother got a hold of it and hid behind the couch shoveling it all in at once. We didn’t see him do it. The next thing we knew he was jumping all over the room from couch to window seat to couch and began throwing plastic kid chairs all over the place. When we saw the empty candy wrappers we didn’t need an FDA study to tell us that he was reacting to the sugar and very likely the caffeine in the candy.

I am grateful that in the 2000s environmental consciousness and a connection between what we eat and our health is a mainstream idea. We do need to put our emphasis on disease prevention especially now that we can pinpoint many of things that really do work. I have spent most of my adult life aware of being on a Spiritual Path. I have mystic gifts that help me understand the world in what my mother used to call “technicolor.” Some people who are of a Christian background consider the gifts to be those of the Holy Spirit. I am grateful to have a sensitivity to the world around us and to be able to use those gifts to help people feel the presense of the Divine Spark in their everyday lives. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized that my mystical gifts also extended to understanding the thoughts of animals. It was difficult to grasp at first. I can relate to Eddie Murphy in the more recent “Dr. Doolittle” movies when he discovered that the animals wanted him to help them out with everything. Once they knew he could hear them he was put in charge of the complaint department. One of my first experiences as an animal telepath was with a group of draft horses. I was visiting a farm and waiting for a friend who owned the horses. I was daydreaming when I noticed that two horses had turned from their hay and were staring at me. Then I heard very distinctly “you don’t belong here.” I looked around and noticed that there was no one there. I looked back at the horses and thought to myself. “No, it couldn’t be.”

When I realized it was the horses talking to me with their thoughts I reassured them. “Your mom said it was okay for me to visit here. I am waiting for her.” As soon as I sent the message with my thoughts and said it out loud for good measure the horses both turned around and went back to eating their hay. I even have some videos where I have translated his thoughts into English. That is how my animal communication gifts work. This is my first blog post so I want to introduce some of the future topics. The blog will be about animals but will cover other subjects of spirituality as well including spiritual writing and publishing, books to influence the journey on this planet, guests who join me on my radio show, how you can develop your own gifts, and how to promote yourself in the digital age. I also welcome your suggestions and guest bloggers on the many topics we will be discussing. I love that the internet has opened so many avenues for communication with like-thinking people.
